Kris Eans

ModMySpace Profile CustomizerKris Eans is a trumpet player originally from the midwest city of Owensboro, KY. He studied music at the University of Kentucky where he received awards for outstanding jazz soloist at college jazz festivals throughout the United States.Kris has performed all over the world from Carnegie Hall to Australia to the historical New York jazz club Birdland. During this time he has shared the stage with Benny Green, Diana Krall, Russell Malone, Bob Mintzer, Hal Galper Bobby Shew, Pat Labarbera, Milt Hinton, and the Duke Ellington Jazz Orchestra under the direction of Mercer Ellington.Currently Kris is honing in on his lead trumpet and jazz skills working on cruise ships where he is able to play 26 nights a month, 11 months out of the year. Kris is happily married to his wife Nikki who is a dancer from Australia and they work on cruise ships together.
