CANESTORTO BIOGRAPHY
THE FACTS:1.---Style: 3-chord Anarchoi-Stoner-Garage-punk it's not like all the fat and epitaph shit.2.--- History: we all know Italy, Belgium en Holland has a tradition of damn good punk bands.3.--- More history: The drummer (signor Ritmo) played in C57 and Moses ItchBass guitarist (signor Strot) played in ANTIDEPRESSIVA and MAIDALIVE.4.--- Live: CANESTORTO Played with a/o.: HEIDEROOSJES, SUPER FERTILE SISTERS, MAILIVE, ZOAB, DICOLAMIA,BAD ACID TRIP and way too many other bands.5.--- Records: In 2002 we put out the debut EP "L'ANARKIA", recently we also released "STRACCIA IL SISTEMA" at our label CanistortiRecords®.6.--- Fashion: You're allowed to spit at the band during the concert.7.--- The Story: An almost unhealthy obsession for real-garage punk is what drives the band. CANESTORTO has been around since the summer of 2001, the band consists of the following members:Michiel van Bommel- Signor Chiel(from Holland) who plays bass, sings, makes a lot of noise and is usually in a state of comatose "AnarchOI".... Erwin-Signor Ritmo-Ritmo (from Belgium) who plays drums, sings and can out drink any asshole reading this shitand finally Massimo-Signor strot (from Italy) who plays guitar, sings and constantly tries to stir up trouble.8.--- The music? : Yes it's Anarchoi-Stoner-Garage-punk for sure.9.--- Best live events so far: fighting audience members on stage and an also on-stage fight with an "LPF-guy".10.--- Reviews: The debut EP "L' ANARKIA" got Raving reviews in all the Italian punk fanzines, and in LIVE XS (February-2002-Holland)!11.---News: The band is also working on a new 5 song EP which is scheduled for fall 2007.In October the video clip "che cosa penso io dei CANESTORTO" will be aired on national TV.There you have it this is the start. These are the facts All there's left us to say is:CANESTORTO IS SERIOUSLY ONE OF EUROPE'S MOST UNDERRATED PUNKBANDS.NOBODY KNOW US. WE'LL PLAY FOR EVERYONE THAT WANTS TO HEARS US, BECAUSE AFTER ALL IT'S PUNK, IT'S A COMMON LANGUAGE.

Non é certo facile cercare di descrivere la musica dei belgo-italo-olandesi CANESTORTO. Nati nell ormai lontano 2000 con il nome di CAFFÉ MUG, decidono nel 2002 di cambiare il nome, modo di fare e anche il modo di suonare . Ed ecco che sono nati i CANESTORTO.I pezzi sono costruiti intorno a diversi strati di suoni sferraglianti stile garage-punk noise, e i testi cantati in italiano ed inglese sono in certi casi difficili da interpretare e in altri si rifanno al puro divertimento in stile Skiantos. Qua e là fanno la loro comparsa anche suoni alternativi tra il noise-stoner & il pop, per poi rituffarsi velocemente nello sporco lurido punknoisegarage vecchio stile rock n roll.La line up é la seguente: signor Strot (Massimo Dolce) alla voce garage piu chitarra sferragliante, signor Chiel (Michiel van Bommel) basso distorto urla e rumori di sottofondo, signor Ritmo-Ritmo (Erwin Werkers) alla devastante batteria, piu voci, urla e esclamazioni varie.Provare per credere i CANESTORTO vanno veramente forte. Suonano il loro garagestonerpunknoise come dei veri cani bastonati, spaccandosi le dita sulle loro chitarre ad ogni esibizione
