"Spy Master" Kino Monthly Feature: [BFVF, Boston, 1979] Again, Thanks Dr. K.
Fabulous Billygoons Years before the Beastie Boys learned to party or rap, a crew of Boston goons hung out at the Broad St. gym -- there were even bowling team jackets, as I recall. Very late nights, and the sun coming up as we ate at the New York deli -- long gone places. The gym was heated by a stove. Lester slept on a five-foot square piece of foam rubber. Made on April 1, 1982, the Billygoon Party Rap was rejected by MTV in 1983 as "Unfit For Programming Practices."
And the prize winning music from MPMA karaoke contest -- "Kiss Off" by the Violent Femmes -- see I did sound correct.
Be sure and see W.'s video of William Burroughs at home, with Patti Smith singing in William's living room.
