The Person Behind This Site
My name is Lisa and I have Fibromyalgia and some overlapping illnesses. Chronic Illnesses are a huge part of my life. Not only my own but my mother in-law has Osteoarthritis, my mother has Fibromyalgia, my grandfather has Myasthenia Gravis, my great uncle has Crohn's Disease, and my mom's cousin has RA. I'm sure I'm forgetting more. My husband's family also has a history of Lupus, my mother in-law just tested positive for it but it was a low number and she isn't really showing signs so the doctor doesn't think she has it but she has to keep an eye on it.
I'm very in to natural health. I don't take any meds, even OTC for my illnesses. While this is hard at times, I feel it's best for my overall health.
As far as my life outside of my illnesses goes, I am married to a wonderful man who has been such a blessing. I'm a photographer and web designer. I have a Rottweiler named Val who is my little angel. My personal page is www.myspace.com/mrssharp
I hope this site helps spread awareness to those who don't know about these illnesses and helps bring hope to those who have chronic illnesses.
