I was in middle school. I was five foot nine, but weighed only 93 pounds. I couldn't eat or go to school for more than 3 days in a row. I knew there was something seriously wrong in my life.It was a diagnosis of Crohn's disease, a chronic illness that I NEVER HEARD OF. My story in this film is about my own self discovery and, in meeting these people profiled in True Guts -now my friends- I learned a lot about myself."
True Guts is the inspirational story of Josh exploring life's most important issue: How do you react in the face of extreme challenge?
