With a burning desire and passion to see the local music scene flourish, a group of individuals came forth and brought to you PlayStopRewind Academy Inc. an event organizing company.
The name PlayStopRewind connotates the 3 essential functions commonly found on all forms of music playing devices. 3 simple words that typifies a universal language used to represent the start, stop and replay of any forms of music. The name embodies the whole spirit we as organizers would like to share with the music loving audience, whereby we would like them to see bands playing at shows and coming back for more. Thus the name PlayStopRewind.
Bigger plans are in store for the PlayStopRewind crew as they further aim to produce more gigs featuring both local and international acts. Riding on the wave of exciting reviews from the public that attended their gigs, they have made it an organizational mission to further elevate the status of the local music scene at the same time helping new and upcoming bands by providing them with the platform to showcase their talents. With no limitations placed on the genre of music played by bands that are showcased, PLayStopRewind hopes to break down the barriers by making music enjoyable for one and all.
