The name Shyla was derived by reflecting on our own personality, "Shy lahh." Yes, with the Singaporean accent.
Playing inspirational Powerpop & Hardcore music, Shyla, which includes members who met in secondary school, started off building this band in mid 2007. Influenced by local & famous artists, this new band have a great future in mind! Big thanks from our fellow mates in Radiant Archery, for supporting us in any kind.
Shyla's music reflects the parts and parcels of life. With mixtures of complicating guitar riffs, melodious vocals of 2 young men & the crazy heart-thumping drums, we treat each and every performance of ours, as the last one.
Feel the inspiring music, chant along with the catchy tunes and the truly, meaningful words of their songs.
