I am born and bred in the city of Detroit--down and dirty roots. I left home at the age of 17 1/2 to join the armed forces. After spending 4 years in the military (U.S. Navy), I came home in 2001 to reclaim my spot in my beloved D-town. I met a group of people that attend the annual art festival in the Black Rock Desert in Nevada..my home away from Detroit---BuRNiNG MaN. It is through these extraordinary people and this magical event that I have become inspired and driven to nurture my inner most desires to perform and dance. It is within the Dance that we move into a trance-like state which sets our minds at ease, this dates back over 40, 000 years, to before recorded civilization. During these magical times we disappear into the sacred Dance of Life, transcend time and space and are filled with the sense of our infinite existence that our ancestors called 'ecstasy'. Music is my first love and the blood that keeps my heart beating. Dance is my outlet and keeps me sane. Over the past 5 years of being back in Detroit, I have continued to strive to become more creative and push the limits of my entire being through performing and dance. Detroit is the smallest big town that I know. From an outsiders perspective, you wouldn't have any idea that this devastated city houses an incredible art and music scene filled with an enormous amount of extremely talented and skilled people and groups that I have gratefully become accepted in and a part of. I am honored and humbled to work with every single person that I have come to learn from, share with and collaborate on projects with over the years. I owe the person that I am today to this city, the people, the vibe, my strong, courageous Mother (I love you so Much, Mom! You are my #1 inspiration.) and Burning Man. The constant titanium strength support, praise, comfort, help, communication and direction from these people sustain me through the ups and downs of this roller coaster of life. Participation in life to its fullest is key. I have an addiction to fun and smiles and being a social alien butterfly. I am a very mutable person...I love tapping any vein that's open around me. I believe locking yourself in one area inhibits personal and spiritual growth therefore I respect and learn from any person and situation that I can. I have no one true style and it varies from day to day and show to show. I take from the entire rainbow of beings on this planet...all living and non-living things included.On this page you will find all of my upcoming events and performances.
