HOW TO GET YOUR OWN "REVOLVER":
I make hand-crafted hoops, and while the Revolva website is going through a redesign, feel free to contact me here to ask how you can get one!
BIO …
Revolva first hit the stage at age five, as a “dancing poodle†in a Detroit-area ballet class. After years of performing and studying dance (jazz, ballet, salsa, Congolese dance, Korean mask dance), hoops whirled her way in 2002. And suddenly, this writer-by-day transformed into a sequin-clad hoop artist, causing jaws to drop across the globe – from Detroit, Michigan to Germany, South Korea and beyond.
Picture it: hoops revolve head to toe as she weaves mind-boggling tricks and awe-inspiring flexibility (did she mention her background in gymnastics?) into one flowing dance. Better yet, don’t just picture it – experience it for yourself. Like Clark Kent, she'll put down her pen when someone needs a showstopping act to save the day. Revolva recently moved from Detroit to Oregon, where she is studying fiction, collecting false eyelashes and fire hooping under the moon.

* I don't automatically accept every friend invite. I'd *love* to get to know you -- especially if we have common interests or common friends. I'd just appreciate a note along with your invite, telling me a bit about what compelled you to add me. (If your profile is private and I can't see who you are, or if you look like a man who is just collecting women for his top friends ... I will not accept your invitation.)
Dancelife! Dancelife! I'm hate to admit that I'm obsessed. But I love that show.
Human beings who have the courage and vision to break the mold.
