..... Since she was little, she's always been surrounded by the music her older siblings listened to. Her father bought her, her first guitar (not a real one, but it had a sound) when she was 3 years old... but she didn't really get into music until the age of 8, and then her mother started teaching her how to play the piano, but she didn't continue with that style, because she wanted something more noisy....At the age of 14 she formed her first high school band, she played the guitar and sang, doing AC/DC covers, but there was no success......At the age of 16 Annie left school (all she did in class was write song lyrics, draw logos and dream about her future band...) and she started working to be able to buy herself a guitar and a PA system, and she started a new band....At the age of 17 she and a friend recorded an L.A.Guns cover in a studio for a contest held in the USA and they ended up in the 4th place....At the age of 18 she decided to improve her guitar playing and she took classes with the Rebeldes guitarist, Pere. She took classes for 1 year, because after that year, her teacher told her she played a lot better than people who had been there for a longer time......At the age of 19 Annie found a band, Asylum, that played KISS covers......Between 20 and 21, she got into a studio again and recorded more covers, by Poison, Stryper, Sangre Azul... and she found a producer short after that. That's when she wrote and recorded a solo CD with 10 songs of her own, and titled it "Annie Michaels" (she was in a Vixen-type band; But Annie didn't like the promoter’s attitude and what he told her to do, so she gave up looking for a record deal and believed in the band she had recently found, Hellfire Club....In January 2004 Annie officially became Hellfire Club's new lead singer, wrote lyrics, played the guitar in some songs, and short after that they played their first show and just some months later, they opened for Steven Adler "Adler`s Appetite" in front of 1000 people and later Annie opened for Eric Singer "Eric Singer Project" in front of 800 people doing a great acoustic show with her friend and also musician, the guitarist from Voz In Off, Kaly....Annie also done some shows with a country rock band called WILD BUNCH BAND, doing their first and sold out show at Wild Bunch Saloon, this last June 16,2005. Going to radio stations and some shows, this band is getting good critics on shows....Annie as lead singer , Mark on bass (who played with Annie on Hellfire Club and Asylum) and Kaly on guitars (who played with her opening for Eric Singer Project) and a friend of Mark, Joantrax as a drummer, formed Shotgun this last September 2006, a hard rock band, (go to http://www.myspace.com/shotgunkingsofrock or http://www.freewebs.com/shotgunkingsofrock for more info). The band done the first succeful show, opening for Mike Tramp "Tramps White Lion" this last November 17, at a sold out club, after the show, their promoter offer them to do a tour with W.A.S.P....Annie been chosen from thousands of bands internationally as a nominee for ARTIST OF THE YEAR in the 16th Annual International Los Angeles Music Awards (2006 edition)..."Im a Sleazy Glam Hard Rock singer.
