I know, it's only rock and roll...

About Me

From the mid 80s until the mid 90s I was known as D.L. "Dead Lee" Serios, front man for the outrageous award-winning Florida hard rock act, Dead Serios. (myspace.com/deadserios) We released tons-o-records and performed nationwide with such bands as Marilyn Manson, Cinderella, Ace Frehley, Hootie and the Blowfish, Slaughter, and Anthrax, to name just a few.In the new millennium I played drums and or provided lead vocals for various other indi-bands such as Mr. Pink and Black Eyed Soul. I've just debuted my new band, THE GLITTER DöLLZ and I hope everyone will check us out (myspace.com/theglitterdollz).As a regularly published music journalist I spend a lot of time traveling around the country hanging out with, and interviewing rock stars. My favorite destinations are Los Angeles, New York, Vegas and Nashville.I've also been a successful nightclub DJ for a number of years on Florida's East Coast. Although I'm really a "rocker" at heart, as a DJ I prefer "rocking the house" with the hottest new hip hop grooves.ATTENTION KISS FANS! Check out my Kiss merchandise web site @ www.KissKrap.com

Music:

I love all kinds of music. Like they say, "variety is the spice of life." As far as old school rock and roll goes, I love Zeppelin, Kiss, Rod Stewart, Van Halen, AC/DC, Cheap Trick, Ted Nugent, etc. As for newer groups, my faves are Endeverafter, Wolfmother, Kings Of Leon, All-American Rejects, Blue October, Family Force 5, Audioslave, Black Stone Cherry, The Click Five, The Killers, Butch Walker, Katty, Yellowcard, Rooney, Velvet Revolver, Steadman and Pint Size. Let's not forget my beloved "hair bands"... Poison, Stryper, Pretty Boy Floyd, Motley Crue, Roxx Gang, Cinderella, Southgang, Faster Pussycat, The Zeros, Britny Fox, etc. I think that 70s disco is still just about the greatest thing ever and I also dig classic, traditional country like Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, Waylon & Willie, and Hank.

Movies:

I love goofy, shallow comedys. I'll take New York Minute, Orange County, and Surviving Christmas over Gone With The Wind any day. I also dig gangsta flicks like Good Fellas, Heat and Casino. DeNiro is still "King."

Television:

I haven't really liked much on TV since Sanford and Son, although Two 1/2 Men cracks me up pretty good. However, television's all-time greatest show was (and always will be) Full House. I have over 100 episodes on VHS. Those Olsen sisters are truely a gift from God.

Books:

Everything written by or about Gene Simmons or Paul Stanley.

Heroes:

Spiritually I have only one hero and his name is Jesus Christ. As far as earthlings are concerned I have only one hero and his name is Paul Stanley.
