Influences: Influenced by a wide and varied selection of stuff, not all of which is immediately obvious on my tunes - Red House Painters, Richard Hawley, Teenage Fanclub, Grandaddy, Lambchop, Baby Bird, Arcade Fire, Sigur Ros, Beck, The Magnetic Fields, Ed Harcourt, Kevin Tihista's Red Terror, Leonard Cohen, Sufjan Stevens, Micah P. Hinson, Ride, Belle and Sebastian, The National, Calexico, Lift to Experience, Mercury Rev, The Verve (Gravity Grave era), The Delgados, Jeff Buckley, Bob Dylan, Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, Pavement, Rufus Wainwright, Eels, Air, etc etc ETC!!
Sounds Like: What influences me, and what I sound like are two completely different things!! Due to limited funds, my instrumentation is limited to what I can lay my hands on cheaply so at the mo' the sound is very acoustic guitar, piano and keyboard driven. Teenage Fanclub, Leaonard Cohen, Ed Harcourt, Micah P Hinson, and all the usual singer songwriter suspects!!
