Band Members: I'm a singer/songwriter, and I like to lay my hand on quite a few genres, since I don't perceive songwriting as something you can lock into one style - it's all a question of take on the song and the production - you know, the musicianship... I just finished an album called "From Here to Heaven", with producer Dennis Ahlgren, and it is out in August of 2007 on new label SONGCRAFTER MUSIC. You can listen to the title track on this page, it was co-penned by Teitur Lassen, and that's Kajsa Vala you hear singing harmonies. The cover and cd-package was designed by visual artist Matthew Joseph Peak (Nightmare on Elm Street, 24 hours), making sure the "wrapping would fit the contents" of this collection of songs ;-) ------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------------------------If you want to check out reviews of past work (album "East of November released nationwide in the US) awards, and praise, and all that, go to www.mh-band.dk or www.sonicbids.com/martinhoybye ...
Influences: Influences? Everybody that was on the radio between 1972, and 2007! - the list would grow way too lengthy to put up here ;o)
