NEW RELEASE:
Danish folk singer Butzback is Songcrafter Musics newest signing, and his first album "Debut" was released on April 3rd 2009 to rave reviews in Denmark.
Butzback has written a bunch of brilliant folk songs with lots of nerve and great, danish lyrics and he delivers them with a strong and quite unique voice resembling folk artists such as Povl Dissing and Benny Holst. Combined with a simple but very effective guitar backing this album stands out as a very clean cut record.

Faroese singer/songwriter Lena Anderssen is now officially the fifth Songcrafter artist. Her brilliant second album "Let Your Scars Dance" was released on Songcrafter Music on October 27th of this year."Let Your Scars Dance" came out on The Faroe Islands last year and won an "Album of the Year" award at the Faroese Planet Awards.Lena Anderssen is an excellent performer who toured 19 major European cities with french act Xavier Rudd last year and plays gigs and festivals all over Europe and Canada.We're looking forward to representing Lena in Denmark.

AUGUST 13th 2007:
"From Here To Heaven" is the long awaited studio album from Martin Hoybye. This recording oozes warmth and presence, while Martin Hoybye manages to deal lyrically with the many sides of human existence, love, loss, gain, politics, children, adults, religion, and time. "From Here To Heaven" was produced by the multi-instrumentalist Dennis Ahlgren (Tina Dico). Visual artist Matthew Joseph Peak (Nightmare on Elm Street, 24 hours) has designed the cover and cd-package, making sure the warmth that went into the recording is reflected in the album's artwork.
The song sample on this page "From Here To Heaven" was co-penned by Teitur Lassen, and Kajsa Vala sings harmonies

JUNE 18th 2007:
CS Nielsens "Against the Dying of the Light" holds a treasure chest of gothic americana-inspired story telling, and this recording grew out of the scene surrounding CS in his hometown of Aarhus, using players that also support CS Nielsen live, it was produced by organ virtuoso Jacob Horney. When the televivion station DR2 did a special on Johnny Cash, they thought it only natural to include CS Nielsen's two cents. Listening to "Against the Dying of the Light" one fully understands why ... "Against the Dying of the Light" is an impressive record, a true keeper, and a milestone in CS Nielsen's songwriting career...
