About Me

My roots are with traditional based Scottish music. I learned to play the bagpipes when I was 8 and when I was 16 I started to get stuck into the guitar. I'm learning the melodeon just now and just bought a lovely wee walnut Castagnari Dinn III which is hard to put down. After a spell studying and working in Edinburgh, I decided to move back home to the Highlands and bought the pub (http://theclachan.com) in the village where I grew up. I've had the pub for 3 years now and it's great fun. There's traditional music sessions every Saturday night in The Clachan so I might try some recording one night and put it on myspace. Thanks for looking.
