Rennie Harris Puremovement (RHPM) is a non-profit hip-hop dance company founded in 1992 by North Philadelphia native Rennie Harris.
RHPM remains dedicated to preserving the true lineage of hip-hop dance culture through workshops, classes, lecture-demonstrations, residencies, mentoring programs and public performances.
Our work encompasses rich and diverse African influenced traditions of the past while simultaneously presenting the voice of a new generation.
As RHPM moves into our 15th Anniversary Season, we are bringing you new works, new classes and more energy to the world of hip-hop dance as we know it.So, stay tuned!

Join us as we continue to pay tribute to innovative pioneers that made various dance styles what they are today. Much respect goes out to folks like Don Campbell (creator of locking), Electric Boogaloos, Crazy Legs, Mop Top Crew, Mr. Wiggles, Boogaloo Sam, Pop Master Fabel, Rock Steady Crew, and many other innovators of the hip-hop dance style movement.
