Sarah Elia

Born and raised in New York State, Sarah Elia studied flute at Bard College where she earned a B.A. in music performance. Currently, she studies with Pat Spencer (US).Sarah can be found performing at early morning church services, late night bar scenes and all in between. Loves: all kinds of music especially electronics, rock n' roll, chamber and orchestral music, hip hop, folk and country. In May 2006, she performed Entrada from Lukas Foss's Renaissance Concerto for Flute and Orchestra with the American Symphony Orchestra. Lately, she's been performing with Josh Tyler (guitar), Bernhard Spirig (bass), and Nathan Churchill-Seder (sax) as a multi-genre band.Aside from being a musician, she is a professional wanderer.
