About Me

Josh Tyler is a singer/songwriter/guitarist/drummer. Josh performs a large variety of music as a solo artist, with the Josh Tyler/Sarah Elia duo, and with a small yet to be named group who's members include: Bassist/Trumpeter Bernhard Spirig, Saxophonist Nathan Churchill-Sedar, and Flutist Sarah Elia (myspace.com/saraheliaflutist). If he's doing his job right, you should be able to hear as many types of diverse musical styles over the course of an evening as the human ear can stand (some are subtle, but just listen they're there). Josh is also the former Singer/Guitarist of The Josh Tyler Band, an 8 piece Rock n' Roll band based out of Bard College, where Josh holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music. Josh is recently working on some new solo material and can be seen performing throughout the Hudson Valley.
