About Me

Isabel del DÃa is Co-founder and Principle Dancer of flamenco's newest sensation, DÃa Flamenco. Studying in both Spain and the United States, Isabel del DÃa received tutelage under world renowned flamenco artists such as Pastora Galvan, Manuela Rios, Manuela Reyes, Kati Garcia Renart, Dionisia Garcia, and Aileen Passloff. In 2004, Isabel del DÃa was awarded the Bard Dance and Theater Award for her outstanding performance of seguiriyas. She has performed throughout the tri-state region as a principle dancer and soloist for the companies of Dionisia Garcia, Kati Garcia Renart, and as a freelance artist.
