Angel Mena has always been very confident on stage and knows very well how to

Angel Mena perpetuates the Latin culture and attitude from his native nation,
Chilli, even tough he moved to Switzerland a few years back.
He starts training his vocal talent as a kid and during his teenage years. His
achievements give him the opportunity to join the band Mercado Negro in 2000
as lead and backing singer. The popular band goes on tour with the likes of Celia
Cruz, Tito Neves, El Canario, Rey Sepulveda and Ch..o Feliciano.
Having gained a lot of experience during his four years with Mercado Negro,
Angel Mena plays a very important role in Solo Dos album Barrio Story
(Universal Music, 2005).
Since the summer of 2005 Angel Mena is working with a team of producers to
release his first solo album. He wants his Album to be very rich in styles. His
deep expressiveness builds up in his Latin pop songs and ballads. His experience
as a entertainer is revealed in his reggaeton and salsa songs. Angel Mena doesnt
want to be stuck with any Latin sub genre.
In early 2006 a unique opportunity to produce a Latin version of Shania
Twains Ka-ching drives Angel and the whole production team real excited! His
pop-reggeaton version of this single will most definitely be a smash hit according
