I’m an American media mogul best known for the founding of TBS and CNN. My media empire began with my father's billboard business, which I took over at the age of 24. From there, I went on to build the popular cable channels, TBS, CNN and TNT into media power houses. Using my media empire for publicity, I turned the Atlanta Braves baseball team into a nationally-popular franchise. My penchant for making controversial statements has earned me the nickname "The Mouth of the South." I am the single largest land owner in the U.S., with more land than Rhode Island and Delaware combined and I’m just getting started.
