After a long time of experience in various bands these musicians formed the
recent lineup to bring up their shared interests to ambitious music. The songs of Steam are individual, sensitive and powerful and the band takes care about being versatile.
In the beginning it was Mattin & Lou, starting out 1992 to make music beyond
commercial formats - Steam was born. In the following years the lineup changed quite periodical for different reasons until the summer of 2000.
New people brought up a lot of new inspiration and impulses.
No doubt about it! Mäuse came in and - STRIKE! Dropping jaws!
So much voice, personality and charme is hard to find and we've got it!
After Mäuse becoming our first lady it was clear: let's get up to stage and into studio!
In feb. 2001 we recorded our demo! Five songs in two Days!
After that we asked Marco to join us on Guitar and Bass.

Beside that we are growing in our lineup.
Henry joining and working hard to replace our MacBook-Sequencer as a real
Keyboardplayer and the mighty 'Bärchen' got the Bass with truly fat groove and chops.
