Born an raised in tha dirrty south (of London), Mr Wwrecklass started his record collection in the early 90s buying 12" vinyl from a small indie shop called Heartbeat. Genres included Funk, Hip Hop, House an Disco. His first party booking was in early 94 playing in the basement flat of a house in Cambridge for a birthday party. This gave him a taste for djing, but Horsham was too small and couldnt hold him back! By 97 DJ wwrecklass had graduated to London where he had incorperated Garage and R&B into his sets, his style would always be a mixture of club bangers, old skool classics and indie sounds which were bubbling below the surface or sittin outside the box. In 2003 he began working (saturdays) at Spin City Records in north west London where his musical taste and collection vastly expanded to include Neo Soul and broken beat/nu-jazz flavaz, this gave him 3 main complete sets: 1. R&B/NEO-SOUL/80S GROOVE 2. FUNK/HIP-HOP/ELECTRONICA 3. HOUSE/GARAGE/BROKEN Having played at many clubs including
Hammersmith Palais, Attica, Tantra, The Mean Fiddler (Dublin), The Pheonix Bar, No5 and Bar Cane (celebrity hang out of the month in hello magazine). Wwrecklass now plays his set at Fuel bar, based in the Piazza (Covent Garden) / Bondai (Chelsea) & Poo Na - Na (Kings Road). He also plays on HOT 96.3fm on Tuesday evenings from Midnite - 2am, playing the best in R&B/NEO-SOUL/80S GROOVEZ, showcasing the best new artists from the UK, especially Buttasmoove Entertainment (Wwrecklass Label Home) and is part of the collection known as Funkjunkiez.biz.
In 2007 he joined the famous GET DOWN CREW and became a recgular dj for them @ BAR RUMBA on friday nights playing chill out grooves, and later, making the back room a place for old skool classics from the 80s and 90s
