About Me

Started off buying records and built up a good collection of music. This led to my desire to share music to other people, from making tapes for my car which my friends enjoyed, to playing the odd records at house parties (had no mixing skills whatsoever at the time).Going out to many clubs and hearing the predictability of some of the music that was played, I took it upon myself to embark on the journey as a DJ. It was quite funny at the time as it was a race between me and my friends (the other Phat Kontrola members) as to who would own their decks and mixer first. Up until this day, we cannot agree who was the clear winner !!!
