About Me
Born in 1980 in Surrey. Moved to Crawley, Sussex in 1984, where I grew up. Began Playing guitar at first school, and hated it! Got into singing and acting aged 10 (1990). Age 13 (1993) I picked up the guitar again, and began piano lessons, which didnt last too long! Formed a couple of Rock/Funk bands in year 10 (1994) with Paul and Ciaran who are now in The Feeling. Gigging in pubs, clubs, even school gigs!! During this period I picked up the Bass for the first time and have not looked back since!! 6th form (1996) was a turning point, from which the Guitar was hung up in favour of Bass, there were 6 guitarists in my music class!! I also sang and began to play drums too!! Planet GYTO (Get Your Tits Out) was formed and gigging and rehearsing twice a week became a priority!! 6th form also saw a new venture, DJing. I learnt to mix playing US House, but switched to Big Beat, and Hip Hop. Began DJing at friends parties, mixing up all sorts. In 1998, I had left GYTO and begun to do more DJing, this time it was UK Garage/ 2- Step still doing the above too!! Me and two mates formed a soundsystem KND (KnowNoDanger), Djing anywhere we could get paid!! In 2000, I had a go at MCing with my cousin at a little UKG rave in London. He passed me the mic and that was it!!! Linked up with Mitesh Patel, who wanted me to listen to some Speed Garage tunes he had produced. In late 2000, I took a listen to his music and it was heavy! I sang a hook to one of his tunes, so he decided we write a new track - "Time" which headlined the "Time EP" was released in Summer 2001. Began working on more music with Mit, and 5 years on, we are producing music with the emphasis on live instrumentation. We produce Hip Hop, House, Funk, Breakbeat, Grime, Metal, and Ambient beats to name a few!! Always looking for people to work with, especially vocalists!! I have recently been initiated into the Heacount Records crew, which I play Bass for!!! I have MC'd with various people, Skibadee, Fearless, Spaks and Kie, Det, Yungun and Iron Bridge, and have MC'd for - Shy FX, Nicky Blackmarket, Matt "Jam" Lamont,DJ Skully and Tony Vegas. Last year, I went to Germany to play my first International show, with DJ Charlee Brown. We are hoping to go back back soon to do some more shows!!! I also co-own and co-run two clothing labels KnowNoDanger and Hustlin. I'm always up for collaborating with new heads, in any capacity, playing on tracks, spittin on tracks, or even linking to produce tracks together!!
