Buttasmoove Entertainment was created in 1996 by Birmingham born & raised Dean Anthoni aka Whodini. It began life as a production company and produced for many local artists in and around the Birmingham area.As the company evolved, plans were made to release its own material in its purest form. In the past, several labels decided that diluting the music for general release would improve sales. However, more distress was felt at the thought of disappointing material being released, and it far outweighed any concern for poor sales. Therefore Buttasmoove Entertainment has a commitment to delivering quality material by bring out the best in its artists. To date, signed artists include Estee*, Craig & Rico, as well as himself, with several other artists on the books. Buttasmoove releases have been limited to a select few because Dean Anthoni prides himself on maintaining an extremely high standard in the quality control of the music and artist development. By taking the time to ensure their material is of a standard to match the cream of US, will ultimately speak for because when it finds itself in competition with US production expertise and innovation.Many have taken the independent label route and their efforts have been in vain because of a lack of consistency in the quality of their music.
