JSB is an 20-year-old Hip Hop Artist hailed from East London he has been in love with music since he was twelve but only started to make it into a career in 2002. He says that his love for music was always there but he never saw it as something he wanted to take serious. Then at the beginning of 2002 he started to go to his friends house and they used to get 2 tape recorders 1 to play instrumentals and the other to record them they used to do this once in a while and freestyle. JSB soon after that started to write lyrics and wrote and recorded and produced his first solo song Let Me Be Free which he was really proud of at the time. He went on to write more and more as time went by and at the beginning of 2004 started to record his first mixtape entitled Born To Rise Mixtape Vol .1 he also as time went by picked up a love for sound engineering from watching his friend doing it and also from seeing engineers in professional studios he went to. So he set out to try and build his own home studio so he could work on his own material and also engineer his friends songs to gain experience. During the course of this he was also in college studying Sound engineering/Music production. He eventually bought the equipment he wanted and began recording his mixtape and engineering his friends material too. As time went by he got better and better at his craft and also finished his first mixtape in 2005 he used his mixtape to promote himself via the internet over time he started to get contacts and done a interview on his mixtape and himself at a site named Write On Point which interviewed artist from the Uk and the U.S. Soon after he started to perform and entered his first talent competition named Urban Voice hosted by UK Producer JD and held Excel Exhibition Centre from there he found the love to perform ad started to perform anywhere he could in and out of London. He now feels since then he has grown from a person that wanted to do music to an artist. In 2006 he has been on a compilation cd titled Voice From The Streets Vol.1 released by a Leicester based record label by the name of Deep Impact records he went to Leicester and performed at the release of the cd. He is now determined to finish his second mixtape Born To Rise Mixtape Vol .2 and hit the industry hard he says this mixtape I feel shows how I have grown in this game and how I have worked hard and hard to get better and better every time and I will continue to work hard till I get in a position where I am comfortable till then its grinding time.
