S.O.L.A.L.
I was raised by a jazz musician, my father and I traveled the world for many years, from New York City to Ouaga in West Africa going through Brussels in the EU. We’ve been playing, recording, listening and jamming with the people we meet everywhere, hardcore villages of Africa like the jungles of a metropolitan. It was always about sharing what we as people have in common, the love of Music. I played the african drums for many years during my stay in Ouaga, i also played the electric bass. I can mess around with the keys, but I would have to say my main instrument is the voice. I don’t really care what type of music the project is, if the people involved are dope and play music with high respect for their art, I’m game. If you was born in the 80’s and grew up in 90’s you can’t bypass the art of Hip Hop. The creative process of putting a beat together is mind blowing. I always knew as a kid this is the road I had to take. You can see me walkin in the streets anywhere singing somethin to myself. I always link tunes together, hear a bassline, a specific drum kick as lyrics of a tune i listened to earlier echoes in my head. Here are some of music you might see me hearing as I’m going about my business in the city. Hope you enjoy it.
