Hi there, i`m Achim,a bassplayer from germany. Starting playing cello and guitar as a kid, i soon moved to the electric bass,playing a lot of gigs in the south of germany. Moving 1989 to Hamburg i started playing in local Bands,working with artists like Inga Rumpf and Joachim Witt. In the meanwhile i`ve played with a lot of german artists. I recorded some albums for german dude`s with sidemen Robben Ford,Ernie Watts,also playing with Gerry Brown( It was fun). I did a lot of recordings,playing clinics for Roland and Yamaha,playing and recording with Orange Blue ,Albano Carrisi ,Achim Reichel ,No Angels ,Marla Glen,the Popstars TV-Series. Last year i recorded a DVD with Saga-Singer Michael Sadler in LA. I had a great time. I did also recordings with pianist Nils Gessinger,featuring Vinnie Colaiuta. Currently i am working with the big german comedian Otto Waalkes (since 1993), Stefan Gwildis and Lotto King Karl. For the future i plan do to some more Jazz Gigs and some of my own Stuff. Just for my soul.
