About Me

Welcome to IAC from the Board of DirectorsWELCOME to INDEPENDENT ARTISTS COLLABORATIVEWe are currently updating our page, so please come back again soon! Independent Artists Collaborative LLC. started out providing a place for all artists to meet once a week. The meetings consist of Networking, reading new scripts and plays from writers in the group, Improvisation, acting class with craft lesson and scene work done every week, on camera work and speaking about the nuts and bolts of filmmaking. Our first goal was to support artists from all walks, study and grow in our craft and create and find work. We say we started out that way because these days we are finding it harder and harder to provide a weekly class because of the amount of movies, music videos, commercials and voice overs we are currently shooting! We will be making some very exciting announcements by the end of the month on how we will continue to grow in 2008! WE MEET EVERY WEDNSDAY EVENING 7:00 PM AT 77 Cornell Street Kingston, NY 12401 2nd Floor Studio 218. Location: MIDTOWN KINGSTON Directly across from the Kingston Post Office, near City Hall and 2 blocks from UPAC, 1 mile from the New York State Thruway exit 19, route 32, 9W, 28, 209. 2 miles from Trailways bus stationEveryone is welcome. Please bring two copies of a scene of your choice if would like to get up and work :) ************************************************************ * Independent Artists Collaborative is THRILLED and honored to have partnered up with Knight Owl Entertainment (Jeff Knight and Sheila McClain) and Edwood films (Peter Barnett) on several projects and is slated to work on LOTS more!!!! They are our very talented partners and our most cherished friends!
