My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Jimi Hendrix, John Bonham, Keith Moon, and Winston Churchill. Boys, I will see you in about 40 years or so!

Someone who can teach me how to levitate.

A good mechanic for my 74 VW beetle.

Music:

The Cult, Gov't Mule, Led Zeppelin, The Smithereens, Alice In Chains, John Roome (Witchman), the Vandals, Ted Nugent, Smashing Pumpkins (their early stuff before Billy became a pussy), Eric Clapton (Cream, Derek And The Dominos, Yardbirds), Hendrix, Billy Idol, John Doe and X.

Movies:

All time favorite:
Blazing Saddles.
Best Chase:
Bullit & French Connection (Tie)
Trading Places-nothing needs to be said about this one.
Hollywood Shuffle, because I am an actor. This one hits home when Townsend's character keeps making excuses for why he has to have a day off (to go on auditions). I have been fired more times because of leaving work, or not showing up, to go to auditions.

Making movies is the best gig there is. It is a lot of work, but how many jobs can you do where you work with your idols, collaborate to make something from scratch, into something that could change people's lives, and get to kill, screw, be killed, crash cars, walk through walls, etc, and get up the next day and do it all over again?

Television:

TNT's The Closer, (my friend GW Bailey is on it). Also enjoy Reno 911, Mad TV, and Antiques Roadshow.

Books:

The Woman Lit By Fireflies by Jim Harrison
If you haven't read any of his stuff, do it. He wrote Legends Of The Fall and the screenplay "Wolf" for Jack Nicholson.
Dear Mrs. Larue-Letters From Obedience School
(a must own for anyone who has kids!)
Anything John LeCarre has written. (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, etc)

Heroes:

Alan Trammell and Lou Whittaker (played for The Detroit Tigers).
Walter Payton (never missed a game because of an injury)
Chuck Yeager, Neal Armstrong, Charles Lindbergh.
Anyone who has put on a uniform and defended our country (that goes for Cops too)
My Military Training Instructor Staff Sargeant Marlett (that was a long time ago)
My Brother Tim, who is a decorated war veteran (Marine Corps)
My Dad
My Wife (No way could I do what she does every day!)
