Tom Dalton

My name's Tom Dalton. I play guitar and write songs.
I sometimes play electric guitar in a band called It's Not For Sale, Francis . We play heavy. Heavily.
I write songs. Lots of acoustic. (But not chill acoustic-groove, coffee shop, cloying, polite, sweet songs to impress girls and for other guys to play so they can get girls.) Some electric. Songs get recorded as demos or live recordings and are put up here. We're basically in one-take territory. But that's what the songs are when I play them. So it sounds like me playing them.

My friend Mike Lengel and I just finished recording his solo EP. It's called No Disasters.
I served as engineer (and show up with many odd sounds and programming things). We're both pretty proud of the result.

Philly Show Update -- A big thanks to Desiree Sky, Intermezzo Cafe, and Stickfigure Philharmonic. Mike and I had a great time playing the New Year's show. There's no place I'd rather have played than in Philly, and no people I'd rather have played a show with. Thanks to everyone who came out and thanks to Sky for being an amazing hostess.
