Band Members: A special moment playing my new drum the "BOOMBAKINI" a gift from the wonderful musician / composer / designer Felle Vega from the Dominican Republic sitting on my left. This drum will change your life. Check Felle Vega's site at www.fellevega.com to order your own.It is always great fun to get a "Moment in Time" from a past performance. Here is a fun moment with great friends Kevin McKrell singing, Kate McKrell also on vocals, Steve Butler on Bodhran, and myself on Felle Vega's incredible "Boombakini"Playing a beautiful handmade set of 4 tiered udus by Frank Giorgini. Performance Excerpt from my "How To of Udu" video.Frank Giorgini's incredible Udongo II. An original design by Frank. This is one of several in his Claytone Line of Udu Drums. Just a moment in time in the continuing udu drum adventure. Performance Excerpt from my "How To of Udu" video.Another one of Frank Giorgini's amazing Claytone Udu Drums. This one is the Udu Utar. Semi-Flat in design with some very interesting extremes to it; from the deep, low, mellow tones to the high, bright bell like sounds. You totally get lost inside of the sound. Drum is killer for all different styles of hand technique.Another fun moment with Kevin & Kate McKrell, Steve Butler on Bodhran, and me playing Frank Giorgini's killer "Udu Mbwata"
