About Me

The hoity-toity woman of forty confidently ambled down the promenade, oblivious of the saucer-sized blood blister on the back of her head.

Hi! I love singing, dancing, acting, writing music, brainstorming, animals, the question of existence and where we all fit in, and being a total fool.

I'm a total 70s/80s kid from Los Angeles. I'm somewhat nostalgic, and love the pop culture from that period.

I'm mostly vegan now - though I'll sometimes have seafood, and cheese with wine. I wish for compassion for all creatures, and I incorporate this idea into my music and theatre projects.

My Interests

Every Minnesotan boy greets the morning with silent baboon shrieks.

Singing, animal compassion (including human animals), freestyle dancing, music-theatre, absurdity, trying to understand existence and my connection to everything, writing, life theatre/hidden camera, drawing, flash acting, hobbit architecture and decor, learning, the metanatural and superphysical worlds, Nautilus Music Theater, chlorophyll, absolute babcock duck, being naked outside, laughing, trading mardi gras beads, Faerie Tales, plants, being in water, watching non-human animals reading, psychology, bending gender, walking a LOT, the euphoric scent of orange blossoms, wild sage, and night-blooming jasmine, fireflies, reading aloud - and being read to, wrestling and tumbling, all the seasons, food - vegan, Indian, Thai, Japanese, kitchen experiments, meditation and mindfulness, hmmm... hound-fire???

I'd like to meet:

I'd love to meet people who are compassionate towards themselves and others, passionate about their loves, curious about why they make the choices they make, and about reality and the nature of existence, people who try to accept stuff without too much judgement, and who try to help out if they can. Also, absurdists, animal rights advocates, writers, creators, other ACAs, dancin' fools, performers, watchers, musical theatre lovers, dorks, rockers, femmes, butches, tomboys, queens, kings, half-schnauzers/half-badgers, or people who don't care about any of this stuff but still want to chat!

And Lionel Z:

Pictures are the essence of your soul, claims volcano-scented salesman, Lionel Z. Take a picture of someone or something, and you own it forever. Lose that picture, and the image is burned into your back with a fake grid iron.

Bleeding Heart Liberal

I'm often much too mild-mannered about voicing my strong opinions on the way non-human animals are exploited in our society.  So what if the rest of the animal kingdom is brutal?  It's only ...
