About Me

Thanx for visiting my MySpace-profile. Nice to meet you!

Music is my first and last love, playing drums is my profession. Graduated as a jazzdrummer at the Conservatory of Rotterdam (NL) in 2004, I'm now making a living with making music! I'm teaching drums throughout the week (a.o. CKE Eindhoven, ADAMS Drumworld) and the rest of my time I'm busy playing with my bands.

I've played in bands such as Black Wish, Rogue, Rosenfeld , Don't Git Sassy! and Festina Lente .
At the moment I'm playing in this bands: 21Eyes of Ruby (emorock), SmallBigBand (bigband jazz) en Tim Paters Quintet (jazz).

Some bands I get inspiration from, as a person or as a drummer: Faith No More, Motorpsycho, Morphine, G Love&Special Sauce, Mars Volta, Fall of Troy, Soundgarden, Smashing Pumpkins, Zwan, A Perfect Circle, Rage Against The Machine, Radiohead, Miles Davis, John Butler Trio, John Coltrane, Brad Mehldau, etc.etc.....

Some (rock)drummers who I'm really inspired by are guys like Brad Wilk (Rage Against The Machine), Jimmy Chamberlin (Smashing Pumpkins), Jon Theodore (The Mars Volta) and Taylor Hawkins (FooFighters)!
