Brazilian composer, producer and musician Ronaldo Folegatti started playing the guitar at the age of 10. He went to Germany at the age of 22, where he became a professional. The cover of the album in America read "An enchanting blend of traditional and contemporary jazz with a distinctly brazilian feel, and a lot of reviews endorsed it. The CD came quickly to Heavy Rotation on a lot of jazz radios, reached Gavin Report's top 40 and first place in many cities. Received also very good reviews like from Jazziz Magazine.
His second release, Lust, Comics & Some Other Dreams, had the participation of the german trumpet star Till Broenner and legendary british drummer Ronnie Stephenson, consolidating his style that mixes Brazilian and jazz music, ranging from big band to pop.
Since 1995, he has lived in Brazil, and, in 2000, he released two CDs, Mazy Tales and Anjos & Estrelas with guests from Brazil and Germany, like the singer Pedro Lima, saxophon players Ze Canuto and Marcelo Martins and Berlin-based bass player Guilherme Castro.
In 2002 he presented Historias de Beijos, featuring Patricia Araujo.
In 2005 he released Jamming! by Apria Records, with guests Randy Brecker, Teo Lima, Will Lee, Joel Rosenblatt, Ze Canuto, Ada Rovatti, Paulo Calasans, Marcio Bahia, Erivelton Silva, Jill McCarron, João Carlos Coutinho, Marcelo Martins, Gabriel Grossi, Boror.., Mauro Diniz, Thomas Walter Maria, Nema Antunes, Cristiano Alves, Arthur Maia, Guilherme Castro, Borginhos, Leo Castro, Claussi Ramos and singers Patricia Mellodi, Marianna Leporace and Luanda Cozetti, among many others. It was recorded in Brazil and in the USA ( NY ) and mixed by Dae Bennett at Bennett's Studio in New Jersey.
Since 1995, Ronaldo lives in Brazil, where he composes and produces both instrumental and sung music albums in his own studio, mixing jazz, brazilian music and a certain dose of pop.
He is also always looking for new talented singers for his productions.
At the moment he is working on three productions, two instrumental and a MPB one.
