Nello Angelucci was born in Napoli, a city with a long, vibrant music history, and the well known source of many of the greatest musicians to ever have lived. From a very young age, Nello began his long musical career by studying classical guitar, but it wasn`t long before he discovered his passion for jazz music, and began studying with Aldo Farias, one of the greatest names in the Italian jazz world.Soon after, Nello joined the group "Common Ground", and after three years of great success, Nello embarked on his solo career, touring Europe, South America, the Middle East, and finally Japan.Nello Angelucci discovered his passion for Flamenco Guitar and the style of Astor Piazzolla, and after studying for many years, has become an expert in the style. Nello has collaborated on a great amount of productions, and has released a variety of CDs, including "Nello Angelucci plays Piazzola", and "Paso a Paso", and also collaborated with "Office Latino" in the creation of an Italian DVD documentary, arranging and recording solo guitar for the entire soundtrack.Nello played for 10 years in the "Glass no mori" museum in Hakone, and has recently been collaborating with Chiei Kobayashi, an expert in Argentinean music. He now lives in Tokyo, working with musicians from a variety of cultural and musical backgrounds, and playing a rich variety of genres. Nello`s latest project is "Akustica", a group playing a vibrant mix of flamenco, tango, and jazz. Nello also works as a soloist with a big repertoire of Italian and Napolitan songs
