About Me

John Bradshaw and Niall Woods met on the side of a road and that afternoon without knowing it, they started something that would turn a shed into a studio and later, a basement into a studio and a shed into a live room or two.
It all started one day back in 2001, it was early in the college year and as Niall was walking up to Ranelagh from Camden street he bumped into John, who was on his way home from Pulse recording studios. Niall asked John if he would like to see the rehearsal space that he had in his back garden. John agreed and after a short walk they were looking at the rehearsal space, figuring ways to improve the quality of it.
After some band practices and some conversations and even more Ice cream the two decided that putting a computer near the mixing console and buying a few mics would benefit them and the rehearsal space, this way they could call it a studio. Before you knew it they were recording and the results were ................. adequate. They continued with this set up for as long as they could, recording bands and people and poets. Then one day in the summer of 2005 an old lady who was living in the basement, died. Although a tragic event, the two managed to see the positive side and claimed the basement as their own.
After much work, sweat, tears and blood the studio had gone from being a very small mixing room that came out of coincidences to a fully equipped recording studio. Not just a recording studio but a place for people to come and relax while they record in the most tranquil studio in Dublin.
