'Heritage-Centre'
Where to begin? Oh, Where to begin?
Like most bands, Heritage-Centre's formative years were littered with tales of numberous members, uncertainty, success, disappointment and love. As these are tales of interest only to those directly involved I shall avoid any sort of a biography and instead explain what it is we do.
We at Heritage-Centre concern ourselves with the production of the best in contemporary lo-fi rock. The band consists of but two members; Ciaran Brady and I, Conal McIntyre. Between us we have 5 Drum Kits, 2 Pianos, 1 Drivers Licence, Numberous Guitars, 3 Bank Accounts, 2 Super Nintendos and 1 Alergy to Cow Dairy.
Heritage-Centre's sound has been compared to the likes of Weezer, Elliot Smith and Pavement with other less extroverted influences spanning artists as diverse as John Prine, Horse the Band and José Mourinho.
1) We are currently recording our (much delayed) debut album in a variety of locations across the east coast of Ireland.
2) This Summer shall see a return to Live Performances for the Band.
3) Preparations for single releases around this time are also under way.
Our Spell Of Inactivity Is Over.
