CAVA!

MY BIRTHDAY IS COMING UP!!!
I'M GOING TO BE 13!
I've lived in LA all my life. I've had my ups and downs, just like everybody else, but it's been a rough recovery from July of 06.
Back in July (right before my birthday no less...), I was attacked by a coyote out in the front yard. It's been a struggle but every day it gets a little better.
Please don't think I run around outside all of the time. I'm very careful out there - I know there are big bads all around and I need to be stealth. My human actually only lets me out when she is home and never at night. She also makes sure the door is open so I can run right in. This was one crazy day and she shut the door with me outside. She feels real bad about it - so don't think she doesn't care.
I'd like to make a SHOUT OUT!! to all of my HOMIES @ Crescenta Canada Pet Hospital. All the docs there did me right and I would not be here today if it was not for them. I'd also like to SHOUT OUT to my home girl Corinne (who really looked after me when I was laid up in the hospital). She is going through a bad patch herself right now... and if you could say a good thought for her when you read this I bet it would help a bunch.
I'm feeling much better these days and am looking forward to getting on with my life. I can do some stuff now like jump on the bed.. but I sure do wish I could jump up to the sink to get some fresh water. The docs aren't sure if that will ever happen. I have some pretty mean scar tissue that makes it hard.
I'm currently in a relationship, her name is Piggy (let me tell ya.. it's true what they say about girls that are a bit on the big side.. MORE TO LOVE!! and I LOVE lovin on her if ya know what I mean...). No really - she is one great gal and she means the world to me.
I dig the outdoors and really get into working with dirt. The feeling of fresh clean soil between my fingers (OK.. claws..) and toes is amazing. I especially enjoy the freedom that the outdoors offer (there is nothing like the feeling of running on cut grass or taking a snooze under a tree). I stay outside as much as possible.. but then there is always someone at the door calling for me to come in - boy does that drive me crazy... (see - I told you the human is ALWAYS on me to come in!!)
I'm very competitive in my work and home life. I guess you could call me an alpha male - but honestly.. I'm really a nice guy - I just like to be first and I like to be the center of attention.
You also could say I'm a bit difficult - I know how to defend myself (hey... I survived a coyote attack didn't I?) but the real deal is that I'm a lover and not a fighter (just ask Piggy...).
My male human was in the studio with me and we cut a track w/ my posse called "MEOW MIXX" - you can check it out... it is my profile song. I'm on lead vocals.. and get this.. I nailed it on the first take... I like being in the studio... I really let my true self come out. I hope you dig it.
