Join us on Project: Shadow

My name is Eric, and I am the writer of Liquid Sky and Deus ex Machina , and the webmaster of Project: Shadow.com . A scifi/fantasy storyteller born and raised in Poplar Bluff, MO, I have moved around a lot. I lived here until I was ten, and then moved to Frederick, MD, where I immersed myself in mythology from around the world. Most recently, I lived in Oakland, CA, which is where I wrote Liquid Sky . The circle is now complete, and I am now back in the town of my birth. I am an artist, a writer, and a dabbler in electronic music. I love Science Fiction / Fantasy / Horror and all things gothic. If you are interested, check out my music , or my website for more on my writing.

Dov Lavan fears loosing his friends and culture to the oppression of others. Longing to save the ones he cares about he takes on a new master who promises to help him lead his people into safer future. Together they form a new group. Dov rises to power and encourages others to join him and stand for freedom.

But, others, concerned with the fire in Dov's rhetoric try to stop the war.

Now Dov must see its own identity. Will Dov be able to make his people safe and free? Find out in this exciting new episode of Fate's Harrow.

Three young boys, Dov Lavan, Adir Radd, and Tien Shaa are taken by the ancients to the Holy City where they are instructed in the Maker's Arts to help them develop their own natural talents. Radd, weakest of the three, is wracked by terrible visions of the future and Lavan swears to protect him from any danger.
There they encounter the abominable Night Terror, Ara'lu Nergal. They must struggle to survive his assaults. Radd must learn how to harness his visions of the future to avoid destruction. Together, the three are able to hold Nergal at bay but the encounter leaves Lavan shaken as he deals with his first experience of terror.
Will Lavan be able to overcome his own fear? Will the children be able to survive the Night Terror's assaults? Can Radd use his visions to help them all avoid the coming storm?
Liquid Sky is a novel about a young man who shortly after his eighteenth birthday uncovers a plot to kill his adopted father. In response, he delves into the galactic underworld of mysteries and magic in a desperate attempt to save him.

The book is a Space Opera barrowing many qualities from Anime, Wuxia (Chinese Martial Arts Fantasy), and dark fantasy. [ click here ]

Deus ex Machina (The Newest Amazon Short by C. E. Dorsett)

Ara'lu Nergal questions his place in life after defending his town. He goes on a pilgrimage for answers, and to thank the fates for victory. Suddenly, a strange mystic appears and challenges Ara'lu's worldview. He begins to train in the arts of Technomancy. The vast powers are hard to control, and begin to guide his actions more than obey his commands. Will the Fates answer his prayers? Will Ara'lu return to the mystic to play with fire so he can master it? Can Ara'lu gain the new powers and control them or will he loose himself to the will of the machine? ( buy it for $0.49 here )
