I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4 My name is Kim, I am a 28 year old tattoo artist, I live in Portland, Oregon. I work at a tattoo/piercing shop called Primitive Urge, 4207 NE Prescott. PDX. I like to do custom art. I fully believe that tattooing is as personal an art form as there is, and shouldn't be half assed. I love to be able to take ideas out of other people's heads, and translate them onto skin. Tattooing is one of, if not the only art form left that has to be done by hand.. I love spontaneous and lateral moves in life, I have taken turns that have led me to live in Brooklyn, Baltimore, Australia, Oregon... I have worked as a bartender, stagehand, artist, tattoo artist, graphic designer... went to art school in NY, then the only aboriginal college in Australia. Now I have picked up a tattoo machine in Portland. I love to paint, I love punk rock music, dark seedy bars, Baltimore, crooked pool tables, cheezy sci-fi, watching the world cup on telemundo because its the only way I can see it in the USA, I love a really good bottle of red wine, or a martini with lots of olives and an onion.. or Jack Daniels. I guess I like to drink. I like rock climbing, I love talking to people who dont speak the same language, I love brussels sprouts if they are cooked right, I like the occult and conspiracy theory, and people watching. I have two German Shephard/Malamutes, Bacchus and Muck.. I love to cook, I love to cook with people.. especially Jason...I love Jason, I love foreign food and strange things, but I am a texture eater.. I love madacide.. I am a germaphobe, so the shop is very very clean.. I love to read and I love to tattoo. I love Art Nouveau, I like to play chess, and go. I love South America.. apparently I like to crack out on myspace when I am not drawing or tattooing.. I love seeing how ink goes into all of the different colors and textures of skin.. I love sitting in the middle of the rainforest all by myself. I love driving with the heat on and the windows down in the winter, and learning new things.

yes, I love music, but I dont feel like making a list of bands I listen to.. grew up listening to punk rock, I listen to little bits and pieces of everything now, at least thats what the genre selector on my ipod would tell you

Movies:

True Romance is probably my favorite, but I am addicted to Asian psycho-thrillers, (Azumi, Old Boy, Uzumaki...) and horror films... Samurai films... Anime... oh yeah, and Bollywood films (if you forward through the singing)..

Television:

evil little box.. but I have to confess that I have a soft spot for The Prisioner.
