I Became Insane with Long Intervals of Horrible Sanity - E.A. Poe

About Me

Myspace Layouts by Pimp-My-Profile.com

I am naught but a wanderer in this realm of life.I can say I'm originally from New York and transplanted to the West Coast, San Diego County to be exact (El Cajon to be dead on) and I would not be lying...Granted, I was transplanted when I was six months old, but hey how exact do I have to be? I write fantasy.Yes, I am a writing and no, I have not published anything...yet. I live in a world full of dragons and swordswoman. I discovered that there was very few (read: none) books that seemed to fulfill me - I wanted strong women characters who loved women and lived a life that is comparable (or more exciting) than the fantasy that is currently out there. My pet dragons (100+ at last feeding) love to help me along - mostly by stealing my Tootsie Pops and hiding my M&Ms (gotta love them).Speaking of my dragons they have all found a home with me and my parents - they range in size of my thumbnail to where they almost reach my knees. My parents fear that if they get any larger that we would be sleeping in a tent outside.I write to escape. I started reading fantasy when I could put letters together to make words and started writing when I could hold something other than a crayon. As I grew older and found my love for women I soon discovered that the books I reach were geared towards men and boys - I am here to change that.In real life I work as a paralegal in family and criminal law...so I do need the escape. I play video games to help relieve stress and am big advocate for my "Video Game Stress Relief Program". What is that you might be asking yourself? Simple - buy a video game system of your choosing (mine is PS2 currently) and buy a (or several) violent video games ("M" rated [God of War works extremely well]) and go then go to town beating the living snot or dismembering (which is much more fun) for about 30 or so minutes - you kill a few (or a lot) of enemies and get killed yoourself a few (or a lot) times and soon your work or day-to-day stress is gone.I am a typical Taurus - Strong, Loyal Patience and Sensual. I enjoy making people laugh and will always have an ear for those who like to talk or need to talk.I study Wiccan and consider myself Pagan, but am learning that I need to study further and help cement my belief.I could go on and on, but I feel that it is much more fun to go exploring together and finding out new things. So until we meet again - - - May the Dragons watch over and protect you until we meet again..bbzV:after Which Dragon resides in your soul? (cool pictures!)

My Interests

Writing is my biggest passion. There are others - Dragons (I'm a big collector) - my PS2 (I'm a bigger videogamer when time permits) - reading - pogo.com (you can find me as DBsilverdragon)- cooking (love trying new things out) - and of course women.

I'd like to meet:

The ones that we can no longer meet, those women who created myths and legends - the Amazons. But for a little closer to this life, I would like to meet women writers in the fantasy fiction field (or any field for that matter) so I could hopefully have some of their talent rub off on me and consider them friends and chat about the writing world and the insanity that we all live through.

Music:

I listen to everything from Abba to ZZtop. I am pretty easy when it comes to my musical tastes - I will try anything once. But for writing, I prefer Sarah Brightman, Bond and Midnight Syndicate (they create the moods that I am looking for)

Movies:

Horror movies as well as fantasy based movies. I really don't have a personal favorite as I enjoy all movies. Love funny movies because we all need a good laugh once in a while.

Television:

I really do not watch that much television, but when I do you can find me watching Mythbusters, the History Channel (love ancient history) or the Food Network. When I need a good laugh you can find me either watching South Park or the Cartoon Network.

Books:

Any fantasy book with a strong female lead. There are not many out there, so I am writing my own. But I do like anything by Mercedes Lackey and Tamora Price.

Heroes:

My parents - they started out with nothing and raised me and my brother to the success each of us have shared. My other hero is my best friend Elaine - she knows why (love ya hon)
