Preacher Records formed after years of listening to music from as long as we can remember, It has always been a part of our lifes. The Conductor is the oldest of the 3 & has been buying & collecting music since 1986 when he returned from visiting family in Jamaica after going to a dance with an older Cousin, he was hooked and wanted to be a Dj. The Dj thing never worked out as other thing in his life took over but continued building up an impressive collection of music of all genres. Jahova & Avalanche have known each other since childhood & went school together. Jahova started spitting at school & along with a few of their boys, Avalanche has had knowledge of music & Instruments from a young age & along with Wazza Dizzle started making the beats for the boys. Avalanche always had an ambition to be a M.C as well as a producer, Jahova & Ghetto always helped him, encouraged him & gave him the confidence to start writing. The crew broke up due to the normal group politics , Jahova & Avalanche then formed Double Jep. Whilst in the middle of putting together their 1st mixtape & recording Ghetto's Mixtape the studio that they were using got stolen & they lost all their material (thats why it took Ghetto so long to get 2 Thousand & Life out). Avalanche's motivation was down & was about to get back into doing dumdness and give up on music. The Conductor sat down with Jahova & Avalanche and formed Preacher Records and got a studio together and recorded and engineered Ghetto' s 2 Thousand and Life mixtape. shout to Wazza Dizzle, Angel, Dom Unique, Tenrag, Green Giant, Supa Ted, HST, Chunky Bizzle, Big Playa G, Sparkie & Risky.
