Welcome to the life of 21 year old KC, a young man with a vision and the zeal, drive and determination that is needed to see it come to reality. Brought up in Leytonstone, London, and the last of four children and the father of one himself, KC has a desire to have a impact on his world and equipped with the combination of passionate poetry, delivered through furious flows over production quality to rival that of the US, KC is unique in delivering what you wouldn’t expect in a way that you can except.
Music has always been his focus growing up and this love for the art of verbal trickery has seen him showcasing his talents in venues across the country; from opening for Fatman Scoop in Leeds, to being billed alongside some of the UK's finest acts, such as Faith SFX, Shystie and Lisa Mafia. He has received praise from established industry vets and was invited to perform live on air at Big Ted and Shortee Blitz’s fifth anniversary celebration on Kiss 100 alongside the likes of Sway and Estelle.
Amongst all this he has been able to gain a string of GCSE’s, 3 A- Levels and is presently enrolled at Durham University as well as being a youth leader at the Destiny Centre, involved with reaching out to young people inspiring them to positive change. As a part of this he was one of the core members of the team for the planning and organisation of DNA Live, a monthly event held at the centre and was pivotal in the formation of their in house music group.
KC is an individual who is determined to become all that he can be and to inspire others in particular young people to follow suite. An with volume one of his mixtape "Fracture Flows" selling out over a thousand copies in just a couple of months and the highly anticipated second instalment, due for release this autumn alongside a video to accompany his underground smash "Joe Pride", it appears that he is well on the way to achieving his dreams.
