Born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and currently living in New York, Chern-Hwei recently graduated from Queens College, CUNY, as an MA in Performance. He studied classical violin with Professor Daniel Phillips, and jazz with John Blake Jr. and Christian Howes .
He is very active in various kinds of music, namely classical (solo, chamber, orchestral, and Baroque), jazz, rock (Ambitious Orchestra), fusion, experimental (he wrote his own stuff).
Jeremy Harman, cello
Jeremy is from Kansas City, Missouri. He is currently a graduate student in cello performance at the Longy School of Music in Boston. Having played guitar in the progressive metalcore band The James Dean Trio for the past four years before moving to the East Coast, he is now trying to translate some of his ideas, as well as a love for improvised music, into a different context.
