The Cellophane Flowers

About Me

Bio blurb

Born across four continents, the multi-national, multi-talented and multiple personality The Cellophane Flowers finally bunched together earlier in 2006. The seeds were sown two years ago in the rubble of a South London rehearsal room, finally germinating with the help of a nutrient rich soup of beer, paranoia and tea. There, the metaphor ends.

The name changed to The Cellophane Flowers upon the completion of our line-up with the arrival of a bass player who can stay upright for a whole gig, having already gained radio play Stateside and winning Internet awards for Best Track and Best Singer under a different incarnation.

The female-fronted, guitar-based five-piece bring fresh ideas and a subtlety of approach to their dreamy pop sound that allows the 'Flowers to flourish in the current London scene.
