From the age of two, Tammy found her love of music. Her father an organist,self taught with no music theory at all, played welsh lullabyes and she would sing along. Leaving Wales she moved to london where she found her love of musical theatre. Such shows as Barnum, Little shop of horrors and Grease.
She began to sing songs in character and her dream began to take form. She longed to be on stage. Artists such as Mariah Carey, Gloria Estefan and even Elvis were played on her cassette player every day and she developed range and her own unique vocal style. Soon songs she sang took a new form.
At the age of ten, she began to enter talent shows around the united kingdom and won quite a few awards. People began to notice her talent and she became a popular girl in her area.
At sixteen Tammy was talent spotted at a local karaoke by an Artist, who took her under his wing and taught her how to start up her own caberet act. She worked at her vocal styles and began doing shows on her own around the UK. People became very excited by her and she began doing regualar gig spots in severald pubs and clubs in London.She continued doing this whilst studying at Leyton Sixth Form College, trying to further her musical experiance she studied a BTEC National Diploma in Popular music. This taught her many things about the music industry and song writing and encouraged her dream to become a reality.
Tammy is now songwriting and working on her own music. She is also helping young artists right here on myspace to bring them closer to their dream.
She is also looking to join a local theatre group and work towards her goal.
