About Me
So, from the begining :)
I started very young to record different sounds, trying them out, how they could sound if i did different things with them, i was a total sound nerd at the age of 6
then when i got a little bit older i wanted to become a soundengineer but when i had explored that i some how ended up doing short films and experimenting with picture... so i discovered my interest for light and objectification both still and moving... and that took me further to start to explore the graphic world..so i ended up doing that too still and motion..
i could do all those things and i was happy working with all the three elements, only problem was that i was working to much so i burned my self out twice and i couldent think about being creative professionally for about two years... during this time i starded a club togheter with helena.. and it took my mind of that side and i could be cerative again in a new way... arraging parties, we started to dj and a new world oppened up to me...
At first i thought that djs were a little bit silly but then i realised that it was so much fun to be able to play all your favorite songs and experiment with them so a new world opened up to me, and we did our own videos for the parties, our own flyers and posters, and then we got to introduce artists that we normaly play when we dj live on our stage...
so i guess i found my way back and today i feel im home...ready to explore new things that come my way...so I have been djaing since 2002 togheter with helena in dj combustion

I also give dj courses for "girls only" since 2005.

Dj Combustion is Helena and Katja who also runs the feminist queer club combustion.
As dj combustion we play our favorit music and kick ass! music such as RIOT/PUNK/ROCK/ELECTRO/SYNTH.
