i play drums, cymbals and other objects. i am regularly playing in a world music joint. players include a dude playing the ektar (gopichand: 1-string Indian instrument), a concert pianist playing a musical wood-saw, another dude on the didjeradoo, a guy on djembe, a cat playing bamboo flutes from Nepal and me playing 20 liter buckets and anything i can find on the spot.on Roland V-drums i play with DJs in hip-hop clubs.on drumset i am currently getting together with funk players in Sapporo and jazz at open mics at the ubiquitous piano bars in Japan.i have been studying traditional Japanese taiko drumming for one year and am a member of the Nagayama Miyama Daiko taiko group. most of my training has been with the kakae drum.music has been uploaded but i have been alerted that there are file format issues which is why we can't hear it. i also have a video up that is confirmed in my profile but i don't know where that is either. as you can tell, i hit stuff. i am not good at pushing buttons. peace...
